Short acting internal antistat anti-static additives for plastics

The importance of anti-static additives

The following is a simple experiment on static electricity done on two films. The experiment clearly shows that during the manufacturing and processing of plastics, the accumulation of static electricity will cause the adsorption problem shown in Pic# B.

Pic# A: A film with an anti-static additive added to it. The anti-static additives release the charge of the film in a timely manner. PS particles cannot be adsorbed to the film

Pic# B: In films without anti-static additives, PS particles are adsorbed due to static electricity.

Physical forms of anti-static additives

For plastics grade anti-static additives, iSuoChem® mainly have White particles, White solid, White powder, Yellowish liquid, and Clear liquid.

Tips:

1. iSuoChem mainly have Short acting, Long acting type and even permanent anti-static additives.

2. The adding method is mainly internal addition.

3. Plastics grade anti-static additive is mainly recommended for PP, PE, ABS, PS, PA, POM, EPE, EPP, PC, PET, XPP, XPE, TPE, TPR, TPU, PVC, hard PVC, or soft PVC.
