What is Cellulose Ester?
Cellulose Ester is another name of Cellulose acetate butyrate resin. CAB 381-2 is a high viscosity cellulose ester with a high butyryl content. This cellulose ester has the same general properties as CAB 381-0.1, CAB 381-0.5, except for the higher viscosity and molecular weight, CAB 381-2 combines solubility and compatibility, moisture resistance, excellent surface hardness and good film strength. It is supplied as a dry, free-flowing powder
