iSuoChem® Rosin modified maleic acid resin is a solid obtained by vacuum esterification of the adduct of irregular transparent glycerin (or pentaerythritol), rosin and maleic anhydride. It is a polymer compound. This resin is usually used to make light-colored oil-based resin paints, and is also used to prepare inks and as plasticizers.
Specifically, rosin-modified maleic acid resin has good weather resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, hardness, adhesion and other properties.
This product is widely used in the adhesive industry, coatings, inks and other industries. For example, Y-72 series is mainly used for wood inks and paints. Y-73 series is mainly used for wood surface paint, and Y-D series is mainly used for wood primer.
