Copolymers made from acrylates, methacrylates and other vinyl monomers such as styrene are called acrylic resins.
Paints made with such copolymers as the main base material are called acrylic paint (acrylic resin paints).
This type of paint has the advantages of light color, color retention, gloss preservation, weather resistance, corrosion resistance and pollution resistance. It is easy to use and has been widely used in industrial paints, building paints, printing paint industry, wood processing and finishing of daily necessities.
Acrylic paints can be divided into solvent-based paints, water-based paints, high-solid component coatings and powder coatings.
