Introduction
iSuoChem® Chlorinated Polypropylene resin(CPP) is a thermoplastic resin made by chlorination modification of polypropylene.
CAS NO.: 68442-33-1
Solubility: Toluene-solution type
Chlorinated polypropylene is non-toxic and it can be dissolved in solvents such as halogenated hydrocarbon and toluene.
Melting point: According to the different chlorine content, its melting point is 70-160℃.
Decomposition: When the low chlorine content product is more than 40℃, it decomposes slowly. But when the temperature is more than 70℃, it starts to decompose quite quickly.

Application
Chlorinated Polypropylene resin has strong bonding power to polypropylene (PP), polyethylene, paper and thin film, etc. So it can be applied to ink, paints, and adhesives as below:
1. Binder in composite inks for films: Chlorinated Polypropylene serves as a high efficiency binder in the manufacturing of composite ink for BOPP film, OPP film, PET film, PE film, etc.
2. Binder between paper and films &Inner coating for adhesive tapes : Chlorinated Polypropylene serves as a composite binder between paper and different types of films, such as BOPP, OPP, PET, PE, AL, etc. It's also used as a inner coating for pressure sensitive adhesive tape made of BOPP film.
3. Paint binder for PP material &Colorant for plastic modification: Chlorinated Polypropylene, with its good film-forming and glossiness properties, along with its strong affinity with pigment, can serve as a colorant for plastic modification or as a paint binder for polypropylene (PP) injection molding wares.
Packing:
Packaged in 20-kilogram fiber cartons
Container: 14 metric tons per 20' FCL without pallets (12 metric tons per 20' FCL with pallets).
Storage & transportation:
Chlorinated Polypropylene(CPP) is Non-dangerous cargo.
It should be stored in dry, ventilated warehouse--not in the open air-- to shield it from sunlight and moisture.
Ensure proper ventilation and avoid temperatures above 60°C.
