The plastic colorant consists of a high proportion of pigments or additives and a thermoplastic resin that is well dispersed. The selected iSuoChem China resin series has a good wetting and dispersing effect on the colorant and a good compatibility with the material to be colored.
Does the product seem to break more easily after using a certain color masterbatch?
This can be due to poor diffusion and miscibility, which is caused by the quality of the dispersant or auxiliary agent selected by the manufacturer and influences the physical and mechanical properties of the product. When used in relation to the masterbatch manual, the problem of the color being too dark (too light) is simple, but there are many options, in particular:
1. The color masterbatch is not carefully tested, the pigment is too little or too much
2. Inaccurate measurement during use, a large number of domestic companies, especially small and medium-sized companies, measure at random
3. There is a problem with the masterbatch and resin match. This may be due to incorrect selection of the masterbatch carrier, or the manufacturer may change the resin type at will
4. Improper machine temperature, the color master remains in the machine for too long.
Handling procedure: First check whether the resin type matches the color masterbatch and whether the measurement is accurate, and then set the machine temperature or speed. If problems persist, please contact the manufacturer of the color masterbatch.
"There are streak-shaped pigment bands in the product under the sunlight." This problem must be viewed from two points of view of the physical and mechanical properties of the plastic and the plastic molding process:
1. The temperature of the injection molding machine is not well controlled and the masterbatch cannot be completely mixed with the resin after entering the mixing chamber.
2. The injection molding machine does not add any specific back pressure and the mixing effect of the screw is not good.
3. The color masterbatch dispersion is not good or the resin plastification is not good. The process can be debugged as follows:
(1) Slightly raise the temperature of the mixing chamber near the blanking opening
(2) Apply a certain back pressure to the injection molding machine.
If it is still not good after debugging above, it may be the dispersion or matching problem of masterbatch and resin. Contact the masterbatch manufacturer for the solution.
