Polyamide resin refers to a high molecular polymer with a -N-C-O structure in the molecular chain.
According to the introduction of Classification of iSuoChem polyamide resin in our previous articles, you can find there are 3 categories for polyamide resins.
Benzene-soluble polyamide resin, Alcohol-soluble polyamide resin and Ester-soluble polyamide resin.
Today, we will firstly write something about Benzene-soluble polyamide resin.
As the name suggests, Benzene-soluble polyamide resins (in short name called “Benzene-soluble PA resin”) use benzene alcohol solvents to dissolve the resin. Commonly used benzene solvents are toluene and xylene. But please do not misunderstand, benzene-soluble type is not dissolved with benzene solvent alone, but with mixed solvent. So we usually call benzene-soluble polyamide resin, CO-SOLVENT TYPE POLYAMIDE RESIN, (or BENZENE SOLUBLE POLYAMIDE RESIN, TOLUENE SOLUBLE POLYAMIDE RESIN.)
• Recommended dissolution formula: 40% iSuoChem DT series PA resin + 60% mixed solvent
• Mixed solvent: xylene: isopropanol: absolute ethanol = 4:3:3
• Characteristics of benzene-soluble ink: molecular weight is between 8,000-15,000; the produced ink has good brightness and fast drying speed (printing speed can reach 150-200 m/min)
• The company's main products:
• Currently our company's models are DT550F, DT501, DT508, DT588, DT530L, DT556
• DT550F, ordinary benzene-soluble resin, with a viscosity range of 100-150mPa.s
• DT501, common benzene-soluble resin, viscosity range is 150-170mPa.s
• DT508, high temperature resistant type, temperature resistant 100-150 degrees
• DT588, general antifreeze type, suitable for countries with lower temperature, resin antifreeze range MINUS2-8C
• DT530L, antifreeze type, suitable for printing inks for producing frozen products, antifreeze range MINUS15-20C
• DT556 Polyamide resin, used for printing untreated film ink
iSuoChem DT556 Polyamide resin
• It cannot be used for completely untreated membranes. Usually, customers will use it for regenerating membranes, or membranes that have been placed for a long time after treatment, and membranes whose electrical strength cannot reach 38 dyne
• Recommended usage amount 5%-8%
• In order to adapt to various user conditions and ensure the adhesion of ink, some ink customers add DT556 as auxiliary resin, and customers who use benzene-soluble resin will add it directly.
• Customers who use alcohol-soluble resins can also add it, and a small amount of benzene solvent can be added for dissolution. If benzene cannot be used, methylcycloethane can also be used as a solvent
• The product of this model DT556 has a small consumption in using, so our current price is quite competitive.
